You are left with 2 nozzle ends on the "Y" open. Attach 2 hoses ...one to each open nozzle on the "Y" and then attach 2 sprinklers on the ends of those 2 hoses. Voila! ( You could also just screw the "Y" into your faucet head & skip the first hose. It all depends on how far you have to go get your sprinklers in the right spots to water what you want to water.) A **Q: Can you adjust this so it goes in one direction only? Thanks.** A: It can be set to go in only 'one direction', if what you mean is that is goes less than a full 180 degree of oscillation. For example, I have one set up so that it will spray straight up vertically and goes down horizontal with the ground, only only one side (a 90 degree oscillation). All hype, very poor quality. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review *by E***L on 23 July 2024* Sehr gut . ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review *by A***Y on 17 June 2025* We've been using this the last couple seasons, and it's done a great job watering our lawn that's about 40 feet across and maybe 15-20 feet deep. The base is heavy enough that it doesn't move at all despite being exposed to heavy wind and hail even on the corner lot. The quick-attach is nice to have when you want to remove the hose for lawn-mowing without moving the sprinkler out of position. The sprinkler head adjustment works well as well, and you can individually adjust both sides as well as the angle of the spray. I don't love everything from Gardena, but this sprinkler has been great for us. We now use a similar sprinkler on the front lawn, albeit with a spike instead of the base. Do look in to the spike if that's an option for you, since the base will leave a ring of dead grass which might be okay if you never plan to move the sprinkler.
