We have checked out many of the these type of coloring books & these compare better than most for design & challenge to color; which is what we are looking for in a coloring art project. This book is unique in the patterns, but some of the patterns seem to be slightly similar to others in the same book.We also love that you can download certain pages to try out before you purchase any coloring book from Coloring Therapists. The pages to download are a mixture of what they have to offer from 6 different books. Plus we like that we can print them on thicker paper to color on; we use art paper or bright cardstock to make the colors pop. This bonus makes it nicer all around, to be able to use quality color pencils on quality art paper, to get a nicer finished art project. We hang our completed pictures right next to our niece's projects on the frig; in one of those nice frames that holds 30-40 pages for display.We started coloring a few years ago with our niece & it made us feel so relaxed, that we checked into adult color books, now they seem to be very popular & easier to find. Another nice thing in this book, is in foreword it goes over the benefits & importance of coloring. It also explains that coloring is good for Alzheimer's & Dementia and helps with stress & anxiety; all of which we found very interesting.Pros:Easy to download onto our KindleGreat as a preview, before you make a purchaseUnique & complex patterns to color, in most of the pictures& Includes bonus download pages to test; which we already have used, printed & colored a few different pages.Cons:Download samples are not from this book, but there are 6 different books to print pages from. Plus you cannot print them from your Kindle, which seems odd.& Price is decent, but could be better...maybe they could make a larger book or bundle a few books to help lower the overall cost.Overall we really like this adult coloring book (Kindle download edition) and would recommend this to anyone looking to check out the artwork before buying the paperback book. This book gave us a preview and now since we like this book, we will probably buy the actual coloring book since we cannot print out each page. Just a quick side note...we thought our niece would enjoy doing this book with us, but found out it is not for most children of a younger age; since they might become frustrated with the thin & tight coloring areas. I find that some e books are really poorly done, but this is a good one. I enjoyed looking through the pages. The images are good quality and it was easy to view from my device using kindle.Adult coloring books have become very popular the last couple of years. I have been interested in trying them out. You just have to use the link provided to be able to print out the pages you would like to color.This e book isn't huge, but there is a nice variety of coloring pages. I purchased and downloaded it to my Kindle which took only seconds. I really appreciate the aspect of being able to "preview before I buy" as I have purchased many adult coloring books online and have not always been pleased with the designs. The sample mystical designs included with this eBook are absolutely stunning. The Mystical designs range from simpler to more elaborate in detail which makes it great for any age, skill, or amount of time you wish to spend coloring. I have attached a few of the sample images from this book for you to view the range of designs that it includes.I really enjoy this series of coloring books. There are several coloring books in the series by Coloring Therapists. Each coloring book has a different theme which makes it easy to find a book that will interest almost anyone of any age that enjoys coloring. All of the books in the series have designs that are similar in their range of complexity, so basically if you like one of the books, odds are you will like others as well. You can find other books in this series of coloring books by searching for "COLORING THERAPIST", or feel free to check out all of my other reviews to see what each book contains with sample photos included.At the beginning of the book there is a really nice informative section about Art Therapy and its health benefits. It lists several of the types of issues that it can be helpful for such as Dementia and Alzheimer's, PTSD, blood pressure, focus and meditation, and to reduce anxiety. I personally enjoy Art Therapy Coloring as a nighttime activity and to reduce anxiety. Many people including myself tend to spend many hours especially before bed on our smartphones and tablets and are being exposed to the light emitted by them, which can disrupt our circadian rhythms and a reduction of melatonin in the body both of which can contribute to sleep problems. I have found this very soothing and no longer have sleep issues. My teenage daughter also enjoys this and uses her devices much less often. I also enjoy it for the pure fun of it as I once did in my childhood. Another great thing about coloring is that it is somewhat inexpensive and you can choose to use colored pencils, crayons, markers, gel pens, etc.Included in the eBook is a bonus link to "ijustread.it" which allows you to access tons of free printable designs in pdf format by simply entering your email address to sign up. If you decide it is not for you then you can simply unsubscribe, either way a freebie and nothing to lose!
