Using these beautiful, ivory white place tiles adds elan and elegance to your dining table and buffet.The tiles are large enough to write (with the erasable ink pen provided) each guests' names, making them ideal as placecards. Or, use them on your buffet table, clearly stating what each dish contains. Simply dry erase and use repeatedly. Don't wash them. Water will seep into the unglazed underside and may slightly discolor the tiles.They come in a sturdy box, fitted with spaces to hold each tile separately and is lined, to protect them. The pen is stored in the box, too. I bought my original set years ago and every time I use it, my guests ooh and ahh, complementing my abilities as a hostess. I was delighted to find another box to add to my set. I also like the much larger tile, on which I list my serving menu.
