**Q: How long does it take to start feeling better if you have H-Pylori?**
A: Along with taking the mastic gum, I also took DGL german chocolate. I went on a strict no sugar diet. Within a few weeks, I felt better. I no longer needed to take antacid pills a few times a day and other problems stopped. It has been a year, I have lost 40lbs and still have no issues.

**Q: Is this product vegan?**
A: Ok I can't tell you for 100% certain that it is....but....it is basically tree resin so I can't imagine it not being vegan. However I would just call the company to be sure.

**Q: What are the actual direction?  There is a sticker covering the directions.**
A: Take 1 or 2 capsules two times daily between meals, or as directed by healthcre professional.

**Q: What is the country of origin?**
A: I am pretty sure, almost 100% that it is Greece- island of Chios. This was the origin of the mastic gum last time I used this brand

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A must if you have reflux and don't want to take PPI's if you want to cut down...

If you're not interested in taking a PPI, Proton Pump Inhibitor, Prilosec-type med (very bad for you for long-term use) this is a huge help. I have severe reflux even after a surgery to try and fix the problem. I've been taking PPI's for years and now my stomach is really messed up. Docs are reluctant to explain how bad PPI's are but, when pressed, they'll give up the info. My wellness doc told me about this natural product and had I started years ago, I may have been able to avoid taking PPI's either totally or at least only had to take them for a short duration. I am trying to get off them with the use of the Gum Mastic, but it's not easy after about 12 years of meds. However, it's helping me to cut down on the number of pills I'm using and I'm still hopeful. Gum mastic is simply a powdered form of a tree bark from the Middle East. I've learned that when the capsule breaks down and releases the bark in your stomach, the mastic simply binds with stomach acid and excess is eliminated naturally. You are able to digest normally with stomach acid, something I can't do properly anymore as I've been on meds to slow acid production for so long. There are no side effects and it really seems to help, even in a case like mine. Give it a try before you get messed up from PPI's or if you have occasional reflux or heartburn. It should help and it's less expensive through Amazon than at the health food store, especially if you end up buying the 120 caps. Even the smaller sizes are less expensive through Amazon.
