The Hertzaudio Cento Pro CPK 165 PRO car audio system includes the CP 165 woofer and the CP 25 tweeter with Tetolon dome and 25 mm voice coil, features ensuring a very wide and linear frequency response. The CP 25 employs the “Center Tuning Duct” technology: the tunnel at the center of the powerful Neodymium magnetic circuit, ensures low-temperature air exchange between the dome and the rear loading chamber, perfectly tuning the acoustics. The resulting very low resonance frequency is also functional for the woofer crossover point, elevating the sound stage. Features - Soft 29 mm Tetolon fiber dome, for a natural as well as detailed reproduction of music nuances. “Center Tuning Duct” geometry, for lower resonance frequency and reduced harmonic distortion. Pressed paper cone with FEM-optimized geometry combining rigidity and lightness for color-free sound. High density ferrite magnet in combination with low carbon polar plates for a reduced distortion at high power levels. Tweeter level adjustable via a three-position switch (-2, 0, +2 dB) for optimized and customizable timbre balance. I've had these speakers for about a week now. These are in every way superior to stock speakers. I fitted these in my Honda Civic with no problem. At first, you wouldn't notice much improvement over stock speakers (my ears were blind at first). However as you get used to listening to these speakers, you slowly start to notice things you didn't notice before. The percussion from the tweeters are extremely clear, its as if someone was playing in my face. The instrument separation is also top tier, I could hear each instrument individually which I couldn't before. It's so immersive even with just the front two speakers installed. I am looking forward to getting the coaxials for my rear speakers in the near future. The only minor drawbacks is that they are heavy drivers, though this feels very high quality. And the bass is not as good as stock (which is to be expected as these are mid range woofers), although once again you can feel the instruments including the kicks, which I couldn't before. Very minor drawbacks, and more than impressed with the major increase in sound quality.
