I have this saw paired with the premium 5Ah & 4Ah batteries and a selection of blades for different materials, some Dewalts and some Diablos (my favorite blades). It fully exceeds my expectations. It will cut all day and then some. It's light and extremely portable, and it tears through solid oak and maple like it's going through soft butter. To be clear, the reviewed model (20-volt) will meet the needs of the vast majority of those looking for a well-performing portable saw without the encumbrances presented by a cord and its not as heavy as the 36-volt model. I think there's some good news if I decide to purchase the larger model as well in that the rip fence appears to be interchangeable between the two saws, so that assuages the issue from my perspective. You could probably get away with 2 of these 3.0 Ah batteries if one is on the charger at all times. **Q: I have this saw and need to cut a 6ft piece of Caesarstone. Is there a blade that would work with this saw to cut my stone?** A: It definately will do a good job. 5" mason blade. I wouldn't do it daily if it's your job but a bathroom or 2 is fine. I've done 5 bathroom jobs and work with wood daily. Use fhis little guy a lot from ripping siding to decking to studs. Still works great. I use a bigger corded worm drive for roofs and tearing into sub floor. Also 4 of the bathroom jobs were 1/2" rock and 1 was 1/4". I did probably 30 bathrooms with my 18v. It was a drag when the nicads would run down. Hope that helps. **Q: How do you put the blade on?** A: The allen wrench is provided in the handle near the battery on the right hand side. Push in the blade lock button at the top of the blade guard to stop the motion. Loosen the bolt with the allen wrench until the clamp is removed. (The bolt is reverse threaded, so it is clockwise to loosen, counterclockwise to tighten, the opposite of most bolts.) Place the blade between the inner and outer washer guards. Pull back the blade guard to insert the blade into place. Use the allen wrench to tighten the bolt into place (using the blade lock button to stop the blade motion).
