Gives an accurate spirit level reading for the base of your ball head. Degree marks on your ball head remain visible. Can accommodate any 3/8" or 1/4" tripod stud. Center hole is 10mm in diameter. Review: Mounted this bubble level on my MeFoto Roadtrip Tripod and it fit perfect. So far... the bubble is very accurate. Sure the bubble could be bigger however that also would mean the overall size would have to change dramatically. The tripod legs fold millimeters from their original position making this a non factor. The Roadtrip ballhead diameter at the base is 46mm so that left very little gap, in my mind this was perfect. Durability will tell with time. Seems very tight after install and does not spin, but i have not had it long. This was less expensive than a leveling base for me at the time... I am very happy with the purchase 10/16/19. Review: I got this to help leveling my tripod, particularly for panos. While I can level my camera on the ballhead, the tripod itself (Manfrotto BeFree Advanced aluminum) does not come with any level indicator. This level fits perfectly between the tripod base and the ball head. It does not interfere with the opening/closing of the tripod legs or adversely affect tripod function in any way I've noticed. It does indeed seem to accurately indicate level.
