They are colorful and she is able to fit them together now. She has discovered she can make a bit of am awful squeak when twisting them just the right way, which she does with a big smile. The only reason I gave this product a four is because they are made of a very hard plastic. I understand it might be necessary in order to twist the two parts together easily, but the baby throws them sometimes ("ball, ball?"). I am afraid the edge will chip when it hits a hard surface like my hardwood floors or ceramic tile. So far, so good, but I do check them over regularly.
