**Q: If you remove the peddle and set tray on the sofa, if you put it drink in it does the drink gets unbalanced and can be easily be knocked over?**
A: This is all one piece with no part removable. The part on the bottom slides down between two sofa cushions and holds your drink. That gives it stability so it won't tip over.

**Q: What size is the opening of the cup holder inside.  How wide and deep? Thanks!**

Do not try to put a pint glass in this mid-couch cupholder or it will tip over the entire apparatus. But, for 12 ounce cans, or short glasses, it works great.

Had to glue the two pieces together because they came apart when lifting the tray. The cup holder is small/narrow and won't accommocate larger glass. The tray is also narrow for sofa use. Most of my remotes do not fit. Not quite what I expected.
