I might use a couple of times in a year so storage is easy. It delivered today and I used it for first time. I have never used one but I'm happy with how it levels the dirt. It's very sturdy metal. I don't think it could ever be dged by just leveling lawn. Handle is 2 pieces but the middle connection is 2 poles but the top pole slides into bottom then screws together. Seems like a pretty solid joint. Bottom handle pivot bolt is clunkier. I put a washer between handle and base for less scratching of pretty green paint and it's a little challenging. If you don't have enough patience for it then you have bigger issues.
