It's best to use a pillar candle wax as they need to be self-supporting. The wool ball mould is particularly effective, very well moulded and easy to remove when the wax is cold. You need to make a small hole to thread your wick through before use.I found with the diamond cube, although the shape is very nice, you need to be careful of your wick. One I was using burnt down as far as the wax, then went out. I believe it's down to the dip in the top, making the wax flood. Another type of wick was fine. I wash mine in warm soapy water after each use and let them air dry.
