I thought my cat was not going to like this. But he does and it works really well with his long hair. It also has a button to release the hair, so you can continue to brush. I have to brush inside the house. I found out that if you have a multi layer of a wet paper towel to discharge the hair it makes an easy clean up. Also the wet paper towel keeps the hair from floating around the room.It's the best for hair removal and keeps your home cleaner without all that hair on the furniture and floating around. However, if you can brush outside it's the best.
