The chief villain seems right out of Trumpist propaganda, a college professor who goes to the woods to kill hunters after his son (whom he barely knows) is killed in an apparent hunting accident. His adversary is a very old man who has no apparent stake in the events except that he figures out that the professor is a killer. These two traipse for days through the woods during a blizzard, because, you know, college professors and old men are great at surviving under these conditions. There is a twist at the end, but it's not enough of a payoff for this silly set up.
