It was not able to catch it even though it came by with the camera on several times. It does not advertise being able to capture such a small fast animal so I’m not deducting stars. The quality of the photo and videos are excellent. It is difficult to setup if you have a very specific place you want it to watch. But I imagine people use these to cover larger areas. It has a screen but you can’t use it to see what it will record. You have to keep pulling out the card and putting it in a computer to figure it out. But like I said no issue with larger areas. I used a few functions. One that took a photo every minute without the motion sensor needing to be triggered. And the same thing with video. I like that you can choose the quality so you can save space on the card if high quality isn’t needed. I did test out the motion detection with myself during setup and it did get triggered but not if you move too fast. It just doesn’t start recording fast enough. I think for most people’s use case this will work perfect. It didn’t work for my original reason for buying it but I wasn’t counting on it. And will still use it to watch wildlife. Great value for money.
