I hunted and hunted for the right knife set....and bought this set. 1st - unpacking the knife sharpener fell apart...YES fell apart...the handle in my hand the rod on the floor, the ring and other piece on the floor too. The blades are not sharp. Shoot I'd give this to a kid as a starter set. I decided to use them...grabbed an onion. Shoot, I had to push my way through it....as if I was shoving a dull pencil through it. Tried another knife on the onion....nope again. I said 'What is going on!!!?!' these are supposed to be good. I tried a tomato...it didn't slice it it MASHED it. Seriously these are the WORST knives I've ever used. Sending the entire set back.
