I could find on Amazon that was at least 6 feet long. (For anybody who failed 3rd grade math, 78 inches=6½ feet.) I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the package to install it that the end washers are actually solid metal, as are the links that sheath the house... At this price, I was honestly expecting (and would have been mostly satisfied with) chrome-painted plastic, so I am very pleased.I installed this hose along with a new diverter (which *is* only chrome painted plastic,) to add a handheld to a bathroom that previously only had a fixed showerhead. The hose was very easy to install with just hand tightening the nuts at each end. (YMMV, depending on the state of your own plumbing fixtures.) The little black rubber washers/gaskets for preventing leaks were glued to the end of the house, so there was no need to fumble around with them. (When installing new shower on previous occasions, I've dropped the aforementioned washers and lost them down a drain at least twice before.)Honestly, I couldn't be more pleased with the combination of decent quality and great price. (Seriously... This hose would cost at least $30 is you bought it at a neighborhood hardware store.)My only gripe about this was the packaging... It came package in over of those awful plastic clamshell security packages. I can see that the cardboard insert has an Amazon barcode on it (not a UPC,) so this product is packaged to be sold exclusively on Amazon, not to be hung on a faceout at a hardware store. There's no way to describe this type of packaging but wasteful and hazardous to open, and it's completely unnecessary. It doesn't bother me enough to want to send it back or give it fewer than 5 stars, but since this is already a great deal, imagine what an even better deal it could be (or maybe just more profitable to the seller,) if some sort of eco-friendly, easy-to-open package was used. ### ⭐ 1.0 out of 5 stars The hose seemed to be of good quality. The leak appeared at the natural bend of the hose when it is hanging in the mount.
