The hair bow stayed on her head the whole time in the pool, it was so adorable on her head, and we had compliments everywhere we went. We did a family vacation on May 15th to Myrtle Beach, and she wore the suit in the ocean and in the pool. I will be getting other bathing suits for her from this company. They have so many beautiful styles and patters, the material is great strong quality, we got everything in the mail and it was right on time before we left for our trip. It is bathing suit material, not cotton, as it used be in the past (in case you read older reviews). The medium (1-2years) size fits my daughter well, and it is just loose enough to last her the whole summer. She is an 18 months very tall toddler, 99 percentile in height, 27 pounds. I have washed it with delicates and cold water once, and set it out to dry flat and it looks in good condition. I also have a ruffled butts bathing suit which is extremely good in quality, very pretty and the top is a very good rash guard which is really my main bathing suit for my daughter when we go to the beach but it was also a bit more expensive.
