Can I use this to replace the timer? Makes sense to me.** A: Depending on the application and required temp range needed. If the temp drops enough to allow the contacts to close and start the pump, and opens when the high temp is reached stopping the pump. The location, and temp range of the aqua stat may be very critical to proper operation. **Q: We have a single circulator pump located on the return loop.
