I was told it was made in the UK. I got it and it clearly stated on the box it was made in China - strike #1. Strike #2 - the box that it came in looked like it was pulled out of the trash and straightened out the best they could. Strike #3 - where the handle meets the carafe at the top and bottom, it is discolored, giving it a very inferior and cheap look (even though I paid a lot more for this one than other brands).
