Highly recommend if you’re already on the makita battery platform. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolute beast *by J***S on 8 January 2025* I’ve just upgraded from a DTM51 that gave loyal service for ten years, and lives on with a new owner. This one is far superior. Vibration is hugely decreased and it just seems better at everything. The blade swap out process is similar to the older one so don’t expect anything special from the star lock system per se. A non-problem has been solved there. If you want faster, smaller, and less vibration, this beauty is for you.
