It went it about one quarter of a turn then stopped. Several reviews mentioned this problem. Ordered Betool regulators twice and the gauges did not work. Giving Amazon one more try and if this one doesn't work, I will buy one at a welding supply. **Q: Do you read flow from top or center of ball?** A: This is just my take on this, the bottom of the ball represents zero at rest (no flow).
