The directions don't let you know that you have yo intall the bottom half of the cabinet around the toilet before putting the bottom stabilizer piece on. Once you have that one, you can then install the top. The other issue I had was with the quality of the screws. Several of them broke in half, with the bottom piece stuck in place where it snapped.
