I also did not expect it would come with a screen protector for the kindle, which I thought had a nice smooth texture and was a nice addition, but it is either I couldn’t figure out how to install it correctly or the bubbles were unavoidable. I ended up removing the screen protector anyway. Another thing however I noticed is that the case is very sleek. For someone who is used to holding the kindle without a case they’d find no issues because it resembles the same feel of a kindle without a case, but I personally found it a bit slippery at the beginning and getting used to it now. The last bit took a little more force than I had imagined to get the lip of the case fully installed—I understand why some persons sent their case back.
