Take the hook end of the extender and connect it to the loop end of the necklace and take the hook end of the necklace and connect it to any of the links closest to the ball end of the extender. When connected to one of the links, the ball end will dangle ever so slightly. You attach the clasp of your necklace close to the ball end. It can be one length back to make extension the longest or several chain lengths in away from the ball end. You then use the extension clasp to attach to your existing necklace ball end.
