I had bought a very popular after market set of scales that was supposed to fit the Becker BK7 and BK9 and the handles showed light between the tang and the scales and their new screws and nuts didn't fit properly on my knife and I had to return them for a refund. I then decided to buy Ka-Bar Becker brand handles and they fit perfectly on my Becker and the rugged nuts and bolts securely affixed the handles onto my knife. I love micarta because of the improved grip and the warmer feel of micarta, especially in colder weather. Review: Super grippy and nicely contoured.
