I have some sticky traps from a different manufacturer, and they have a sweet scent that attracts the little guys. I put one of each near the sink. The other brand is covered. This brand has exactly one bug on it. I just buy from whatever seller has the best price at the time and this time I ordered these. What I've never gotten is a tiny shovel inside the packages which is, I assume, for digging out a place for the stake if it's not sturdy enough to stab in on its own. I don't really see myself actually using it but it's absolutely adorable and made getting an item that's a pretty boring purchase into something cute and fun. So, I'd recommend this seller over the others just for the fun factor. This product sounded promising and I liked that there were so many pieces to trap them. Unfortunately the gnats/fruit flies have little to no interest in them. We put quite a few of them out in several rooms but it’s just not working. None of them have more than 2 or 3 gnats on them & the gnats are still here. We had a take-out breakfast with a plastic cup of orange juice with a lid and noticed fairly quickly how many gnats were getting trapped in the cup after crawling in thru the X cut in the top for the straw and couldn’t get back out. Honestly, we’re just gonna go buy a few more OJ’s and use the cups. The traps are sticky so if the gnats were attracted to them at all they would get caught.
