They were easy to screw in and are vibrant colors. Arrived early, all pieces accounted for and a few extra screws were in box(which is helpful-just in case). Four and two year old easily able to grab holds and place feet on. We placed closed together due to ages but I am sure would work for adults as well. Great product. Happy climbing. How long is the provided hardware? What thickness of plywood might you recommend?** A: 3/4 inch **Q: We live in a community with the backyards fenced on all 4 sides with concrete blocks. Can these be attached to the block?** A: The bolts supplied are intended to be used with nuts. You could drill into the block using a mortar bit, then carefully tighten (don't over tighten or concrete will crack) the bolts into the supplied tee nuts (positioned backwards!!!). That's a lot of effort, is not easily accessible and would damage your fence. My suggestion would be to build a lumber frame with plywood deck then attach the climbing grips to the wood frame. This method is more easily configured and even portable. **Q: what is the thread size of the hardware?** A: It has been a while since I installed them, however, I would suggest contacting the Company - Ruby's Future, LLC Customer Service Phone: 503-799-0989. hope this helps. **Q: Can I put these on a tree?** A: The hardware that comes with the chips are bolts and would not work for you. However, lag bolts would work for you. I'd start in the 3/8" range. Be sure to get $tainless $teel so they don't rust. Use a socket head on a drill/driver to drive them in. Maybe a 1/4" pilot hole.
