Ten days! That's a lifetime when you have glasses like mine. So my eye doc made me a quick-n-dirty pair of distance-only glasses to get through the ten days. At least I can walk around, navigate by bus or bike, watch TV.... But reading or knitting or using my phone were impossible. And doing my job which involves a LOT of data recording would be impossible. But these will get me through the waiting time. I pop these on my nose in front of my distance glasses and I have ad-hoc bifocals. It looks dorky but I've never been accused of worrying about fashion. I have an average Irish-heritage nose and these fit perfectly. I can toss them with their holder in a pocket when I don't need to read or write. Precisely what I need.
