Review: Nice and compact - Brilliant piece of kit
Review: Old product but appears to work well enough. - The RC-4HC I received had a two-year calibration certificate which expired six months ago. I can only conclude that it has sat in storage for two and a half years. Its USB interface is micro-USB (cable included) which probably reflects that it was designed and manufactured a few years ago. That said, it appears to work fine and hopefully, it is still in calibration. The EliTechLogWin PC software works fine but it needs the option to display temperature and humidity on separate charts. Fortunately, the data export function works well so the data can be charted in a spreadsheet.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Please give basic steps for trying buzzer alarm, with probe put against a light bulb to activate alarm. Logging say every 10seconds?**
A: I don't know if it has a buzzer or not. I can't try it out at the moment because my devices are in use. The Amazon site says it has a buzzer, but the operator's manual doesn't mention it. If you use 10 second logging, then you'll only get about 2 days logging before you have to reset the device. I have used one of mine to record immersion heater on-off by taping the probe to the cable, and there is a ~15C temperature rise when the 13A is flowing. I used 1 minute logging. I doubt if your bulb would take enough current for this to work for you, but you should see a temperature rise from the bulb itself (like you are planning).
