In the functionality category - the cartridges are made for the Lamy pens and that's what I use it for, so no complaint there. They do not dry up if you top your pen when not writing. I've left my pen unused, topped for a week or more and have no problem picking it up and writing effortlessly - ink flows fresh immediately. I hate wastefulness, and this cartridge drains to the last drop, literally. Occasionally I've had to give the pen a little shake to move the last drop to the writing end after being in my bag, but then it writes until the cartridge is completely empty. Can't ask for better than that. Ink is smooth, colors true and rich.

Love my Lamy pen and the refill ink never disappoints. Blue/Black is always my go-to ink color and this is right on for the color. I also purchased the violet which is a fabulous color - a true violet, rich and fun. In the functionality category - the cartridges are made for the Lamy pens and that's what I use it for, so no complaint there. They do not dry up if you top your pen when not writing.
