Review: Ask your vet - Didn’t really work for my old cocker spaniel... she still had urine issues doc suggested prion 50 instead, so better ask your vet
Review: After 2 months daily use review… - My 15 yr old female Australian Shepherd started having nighttime and sometimes day pee piddles and STEP 1 I had to buy pee pads. While she also has a bad habit of licking (sometimes obsessive compulsively) I also thought that might be some cause of her bladder leakage. STEP 2 I purchased these supplements. I was not interested in using any prescription medicine and I was getting very tired of washing pee pads daily. While they say per weight of which I would have needed 2 tablets twice daily, I started with just 1 twice daily with her morning and evening meal, mainly to see if she had any stomach upset. While I didn’t see anything noticeable for the first week, by the second, I noticed a slight reduction in accidents, even if just one in a week. Thought maybe just coincidence. I continued using. I also have been adding diapers at night and only have had one time where it was slightly peed in. It is now 2 months of use, and my washing of pee pads is mainly just to refresh them. Diaper use at night, while used if I feel she is going to go too long from sleep onset to morning, have been mainly dry. Just a dribble. There have been no daily or nighttime pees on the pee pads. I have seen LESS licking of her privates as well. The only thing I also added to the mix was to up the time I let her out maybe by one hour during the day and then trying also to go an hour later before bed. With these results, I will continue to use. I have NOT increased the dose to the 2 tablets each serving and will continue with just 2 total per day. (One morning meal, one evening meal) I can’t see these changes being just a fluke. I read all the ingredients and what they claim to do for a dog. For me, for now, it’s working! Happy dog mom, indeed.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: How long did it take to see results?**
A: I use it in conjunction with medicine from the vet, so my results are not so easily quantified. But all in all I'd say they had a net positive effect, and I keep buying them.

**Q: Anyone have any experience with vetriscience vs nutrivet? which is more effective and why?**
A: I have a 45 pound, 8 yr old spayed Siberian husky. I first tried Vetriscience which helped some (abour 30% less frequent accidents). Then I tried SanaVet Canavid U/T, which cut down the frequency by 2/3 ... was going to reorder when decided to try Nutri-vet. I believe the Nutri-vet was at least as good, if not better (maybe 75% less accidents). I tried the Nutri-vet because even though both Sana & Nutri has several identical ingredients, the Nutri has soy protein (probable plant estrogen for spayed) and cranberry extract. I still have to give her Proin, but was able to reduce the dosage ... which was my goal. Don't believe any of these products can "cure" the problem 100%.

**Q: Is this the same as Veterinary prescribed Proin?**
A: This is not the same as Proin. I didn't try the Proin because of the bad reviews I've read. Nutri vet was the first supplement I tried and it did nothing. I used the whole bottle and saw no noticeable change at all. I'm now using "Leak No More" and so far I'm happy with the results. I've used the "leaks no More" since January 5 and started seeing results in a matter of days.

**Q: Are they guaranteed? They are opened My dog had a few but now will not eat them**
A: I am not sure if they are guaranteed or not. My dog ate them like treats and they worked really well for her. I would suggest crushing up the tablets and putting them in food. Good luck!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Bladder control
*by K***S on 26 September 2023*

These were starting to work on my elderly dog and I wished I had started them sooner, when she first began wetting her bed. Unfortunately she passed away but I’d recommend these, just start as soon as you notice the incontinence so you can give them time to work.
