Have used it for 2 years and it puts off great heat. But do notice, it only has 3 settings on it, high and low and pilot. I have had the opportunity to use the heater four times already. It is easy to start and I feel very safe using the heater. My nephew installed it easily and was so impressed that he is discussing buying one as a back up for his home. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Replacement *by B***R on Reviewed in the United States on May 28, 2021* I had the earlier model for several years & loved it. It suffered abuse from a 'house-sitter' & I needed to replace it. Since I loved the earlier version I got this one. They changed some of the design. The old model you could easily light the pilot with a match after the electronic ignition fails & it will. This model will require taking the whole front off with 4 screws. Much of the year, spring, fall & sometimes even summer, the days are too hot to keep the pilot lit & the nights still drop into the 30's so morning or late night heat is desirable. Something else that bugs me about this model is that they used cheaper steel (or something) because it frequently does this loud bang when the metal expands on heating or contracts when cooling. The sound is loud enough to knock you out of your chair if you didn't know what it was...you might think someone was shooting at you. I haven't tried adjusting screws here or there to see if I could fix it but I don't know which panel is bowing.
