The non-skid texture underneath is really grippy and helps to prevent the pad from sliding around. However, although the details listed that it fits a 1995 BMW 325is center console, it is a wee bit too wide (by approx 1/2") and would rub against the sides of the driver and passenger backrests when lifting the console lid.
