It is very nice that this toys actually works (in sense of gathering every sounds and noises and transferring them to your ears), however the acoustic capability is honestly below every standards (I am an MD) but it is what you get for a toy stethoscope at this price range. If you are not familiar with the exact auscultation spots (anatomical sites a stethoscope must be placed in order to hear heart, lung and abdomen sounds), you will barely hear anything except for noises, but I think a growing kid is mostly interested in its function rather than its diagnostic capability. Three stars for the stethoscope and 1 start for the soft silicon ear tips that changes the game for your little ones' ears dramatically. Also a tip for the parents: the ear tubes in a professional stethoscope have a 15 degree angle forward that make them both aligned with ear canal (improving hearing) and help minimize the pressure to the ear and its canal.
