**Q: Can this be used in the microwave?**
A: Never tried it, but I, personally, would not chance it.

**Q: Can I heat with candle?**
A: Yea, that is actually how it's heated.
I suggest you seep the tea in boiling water first then transfer it to the glass kettle because the tea light candle alone will not boil water.

I found it better for me to sit the glass on my coffee warmer which keeps it hotter for a longer time and I don't have to have an open flame.

**Q: Does this tea pot come with the glass cups shown in the picture?**
A: No it doesn’t.  Just teapot.

**Q: can this be on a gas stove with an open flame on low? or should I use something to keep it off the flame**
A: It’s very small and fragile. Totally disappointed when I bought it.

I like this tea kettle and when using the blooming tea I love to see them blossom in the boiling water. The kettle can only hold a little over half a cup of water, anything beyond that, it will spit out the kettle through the spout when the water begins to boil. The kettle is really small, it is for personal use, you will have to boil water more than once if looking to fill a whole cup or make more than one serving. The kettle is easy to clean, I use soap and warm water to clean it but I have noticed it is beginning to stain. There is a yellow coloring around the rim of the kettle. I have not had an issue with having it on the eye until it reaching boiling temperature. The kettle is well made and has no cracks. The kettle comes in three pieces and the strainer has small slots at the bottom allowing liquid flavoring to escape while keeping the tea bag or loose leaf tea inside. The lid stays on while boiling and the kettle does not whistle during the process. It is a good kettle, the only con is the size and it spitting out if overfilled.
