Works like a charm and much less expensive that purchasing descaling solutions. I mix one (1) tablespoon of this citric acid in a quart of warm water in a glass measuring container. And BTW, it dissolves instantly with a swish or two with a plastic spoon. Start the brewing cycle and turn off mid-cup and let the solution stand for 30 - 60 minutes. Then finish and discard the solution. Repeat a second time if the flow still isn't adequate. Then flush with at least two pots of fresh water. Taste the water coming out of the coffee maker to ensure all the citric acid has been flushed out. You'll know if it's not, citric acid has a bitter taste. ### ⭐⭐ 2.0 out of 5 stars dont use for bath bombs *by M***N on Reviewed in the United States on December 17, 2018* the crystals are so large that it makes bath bombs unstable. I'm using a filter to catch the largest bits but im now needing to grind 1/3 of the bottle by hand.
