First it does run slightly small. In many brands (Lane Bryant, Glamorize, etc.), I am a size 44D. With this one I found the band a little tighter and the cups slightly smaller. You may want to size up. The cup has a double layer. When on the top layer does not lay completely smooth. It has wrinkles in it. Only good thing is the wrinkles have not been visible through my tops. Even though slightly small I do still wear the bra and find it comfortable.
