I am going to refrain from using these with any boiling liquids as well. Are these high quality measuring cups? No, but they are functional and serve the purpose for which they were designed. With care and common sense, at the current price point, they are worth purchasing. CORRECTION: Upon closer inspection, I discovered the measurement marks are indeed printed of the exterior of the cup, not on wrap as previously reported in my review. I apologize for this error.
