Review: Outstanding For Fall 2021 Overseed/Restoration - I can't say enough good things about this starter fert. I thinned out the front half of my lawn and then overseeded the first week of October with a quality TTTF cultivar and had to cross my fingers against a first frost given how late I started. I would normally have waited a few days after seeding to put the fert down, but rain was forecasted and I didnt want a washout, so I spread the fert immediately after overseeding. The results were fantastic - I had germinations within 4-5 days and the seedlings came in a lush dark green. I'm sure alot had to do with the seed cultivar and the constant watering (mostly 2x a day after am dew evaporated, for 15 min each session) over the first two weeks. I almost regretted using this instead of the Scotts with tenacity (I partly top dressed a few sections of the lawn with top soil from a blue box store and one bag of soil definitely had weeds), but I can take care of any weeds with a post-emergent next spring or possibly later this fall.
