You just put your ramen in the bottom, fill the water up as high as you want and cook for 3-4 minutes. Keep in mind the lid sits on top, so when you drain the water out you will need to hold the edges so hot water doesn’t spill on your hands. Other than that this has been great for those “starving” kids coming home from lunch. I loved it so much my office bought one so we can use it here too. Highly recommended item. It’s very sturdy and does the job perfectly.
