I can tell a difference between these and Kleins but for the price difference, these are well worth the money for an apprentice or just a backup pair.

**Q: Can this cut through a standard padlock?**
A: No it cannot cut steel. Only copper and aluminum wire. Bolt cutters is what you need.

**Q: What brand is it?**
A: China knock off - works fairly well - nothing beats Klein, but for the price good

**Q: Will these cut a 250 awg wire?**
A: Yes. I have cut up to 350 with them

**Q: Will this cut all 3 strands of 4/0 triplex at once?**
A: It should. I cut 4/0 SEU with mine.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ These work great on alumium wire

These work great on alumium wire . we used it up to 250 Kcmil. On copper , we were ok up to 3/0 . We used it on 350 and 500 , but it took a little on the hand ! I would say great for the price and if your working on 200 amps and under , this is a no brainer. If your terminating larger wires , It will work , but they do feel like they want to strain a little. But dont let that scare you. We bought 3 of them and crews are happy.
