Methylisothiazolinone is my biggest contact allergy.** A: Also, the Healthy Living app lists the ingredients and it has a great rating **Q: Do lashes hold a curl with this mascara?** A: For me it did! Even when my lashes got wet they still held a curl. I went swimming with this mascara and by the time I got out and looked in the mirror my mascara and the curl looked just as it did at the beginning of the day. **Q: Which is a lighter brown the cliff or the Coco colo?** A: Cocoa **Q: What do you use to safely clean this mascara off? Will avocado oil do the trick?** A: I haven't ever used avocado oil so I am unable to answer. I use a knock off brand (found on Am-z) make-up remover cloth. I got a 10 pack of the travel size and use it once and throw it in the laundry. They do a marvelous job of removing it without me adding chemicals into my face cleaning routine. You can wash and reuse them and they come out looking good as new. I will say, if you have not used this mascara before, it is great (no flaking or smudgy eyes), BUT...the wand is awful. I have used this for two years and still get the product all over my eye lid. Not sure why they don't change the wand. Back to the original question, not sure about avocado oil but get the make-up remover cloth, use warm water and within seconds it will wipe right off. It doesn't flake or smudge on me at all and is waterproof. My lashes are soft with this formula on them which I like. It would be five stars if not for two things. First, the color. It is not "cocoa" or the "reddish brown" anticipated. As a natural redhead who prefers natural looking makeup I really, really wanted this to be an actual reddish brown/cocoa color as described. But it's black. Thankfully a soft black so it's still wearable for me even if more noticeable than I'd like, but not the stark black like all the far more common "blackest black" mascaras that are more common. And secondly, as many have stated, the wand is a bit ridiculously large particularly at the end and that makes applying the product awkward and difficult. My usual mascara is about at it's life expectancy and it's greatest downfall is that it is not waterproof and as someone with watery eyes who wears contacts and frequently uses rewetting drops to keep said contacts from becoming uncomfortably dry, I really want to find a good waterproof mascara that's actually a light brown/auburn shade, assuming it exists which so far it doesn't seem to. I'll probably be sterilizing the wand from that mascara to use with this one to make application easier. I really do love this formula. I’m very sensitive to most all other drug store brand mascaras so I wanted something EWG verified. This mascara is not my favorite, but it doesn’t have the harsh chemicals that many popular brands on the market today have. I did come to find that this mascara is NOT waterproof, unfortunately. Regardless, less chemicals and it doesn’t irritate my eyes.
