I've tried many and this one by far is the best no doubt! small and compact and can be opened from either side and has a heavy duty velcro AND a snap. u don't have to use the snap. it works perfectly fine without it but its a little extra security if u go running or somthn.

The pack is well made.  I would keep the pack despite my 3 star review except it does not fit an M&P Shield 9mm or a Kahr P40, even with the lower capacity mags.  Reviews told me it might not fit but I took a chance, my bad.  It is a good size for what I am looking for (cycling).  I wish I could do a 3.5 review for the one serious issue I see.  Other fanny packs I have used have an adjustable holster to keep the pistol in one position.  This one does not.  The pistol could shift making it much harder to access if it is needed.  If my pistols fit, I would have tried it out anyway but I suspect I would not have been satisfied with the pack because of the lack of a holster.
