Read your instructions but usually the sizing needs to set up for 2 hrs prior to hanging paper. This does not eliminated the need to size your wallpaper. (Obviously peel and stick is applied as is to presized walls.) This just improves your wall surface to accept and apply paper, lining up patterns and seams, more easily with more professional outcomes. **Q: Does this work on contact paper?** A: I have used this with peel and stick wallpaper to enhance the stickiness where needed. I bought an expensive peel and stick wallpaper from Etsy. We applied it to the wall and cut it to measure. Within just a few hours, the wallpaper was coming off the wall majorly. At that point, nothing could have helped us put back the wallpaper perfectly, but this product helped us salvage the situation. The wallpaper is still attached to the wall 3 days later. I would suggest that people use the spray from the start, as I think it also helps with pushing out air and reducing air bubles. I think the spray bottle would be enough for a medium sized room, we only used about a third on the largest wall.
