We go back every 3 to 6 months for a urinalysis and everything seems to be looking good. They’re not sure why vitamin C works but it seems to work in most cats. Crystals are not to be messed with, they can quickly turn life threatening and having lost a cat years ago from a bladder blockage, I now know the symptoms and will do just about anything to ensure his health. Directions on my container says to add 4 drops per 25 oz of water and shake to mix. It says scatter 8 drops to food daily - if you choose to add to food instead of water. But it says for best results, contain your vet. **Q: Does this product contain xylitol?** A: The ingredients don’t show it. I’d stick with fresh greens as they are better for vitamin C and aid in digestion. **Q: What's the difference between this and the other oasis guinea pig c drops selling for much less (with free shipping) on amazon?** A: Some of them are a multi vitamin with vitamin c in them and this one I believe is just vitamin c. **Q: Do guinea pigs like the taste?
