Review: Good fit and protection; easy to open and seal - Pefect fit for my US passport. I feel like these will protect it from opening up and getting damaged or getting dirt or fluids spilled on them. I'll feel better about having this on my passport given the protection it provides. I've seen other reviews where these are a challenge to open but I'm guessing they are trying to open them on the wrong side or top. I am having no problems opening them.

**Q: Could I successfully use, wipe clear and reuse dry erase markers on these?   I’m looking to make some scoresheet for board games reusable**
A: once you mark it with any form of ink it cannot be removed

**Q: Why does this show lanyards witht he pouches yet my order did not have any lanyards included? Pouches without lanyards do no good.**
A: I just accessed the pouches you mentioned. . . . AND, only one of the pictures show a lanyard.  I ordered mine for keeping my savings account books in.  I ordered my 10 years ago, and didn't remember any lanyards even hinted in the Ad-Speak about them.  
   Amazon has lanyards for sale.  They are cheap, and take no time to get them when you order.  I have used mine for ID tags at events, lanyarding pens to my Navigation devices, or for any purpose.  My use didn't require any use of any lanyards.
   If you want the real reason why lanyards don't accompany the pouches, contact the manufacturer, after all, it's their product, it's the way they supply their external vendors.  I only purchased the pouches. 
    I also ordered some different dimension pouches for the Covid Shot and Booster papers.  Those also don't have lanyards, and unless you travel, you probably won't need to have them fastened to the outside of your apparel.  We've pretty much given up on air travel.  It is riddled with the security lines, unreliable scheduling and cancelled flights.  I'd sooner take the extra time to drive myself, get there when I have planned, not need to rent a car, at exorbitant rates, and need to drive many miles to get to my destination, usually in insane traffic.

**Q: Is this waterproof or water resistant? I washed my passport accidently and I was wondering if one of these cases would have prevented that?**
A: They are water resistant and provide good protection to the items placed inside, but probably would not withstand the washing machine.

**Q: Would this fit a passport with extra pages?**
A: Possibly but it would be tight or could rip.

Exactly as described, not just in quality and functionality (water resistant and resealable), but the measurements were spot on for both the external and internal width and lengths (Dimensions: Outer Dimensions: 6.4" L x 4.2" W Maximum Insert: 5.25" L x 4 " W). Pay close attention to what you need, if you misread the details then you may think it can hold 6" insert, but it is limited to about 5 1/4". Over-all I'm very pleased.
