This unit requires very little power to operate, so instead of powering it via a 12V supply (battery), one option is to bring a USB battery bank or similar power device and, using this cable/board, power the unit. That's my guess. **Q: What is the swr matching range and the impedance matching range?** A: For my use and what you want to connect to this device impedance wise, 50 ohms from the transmitter and the antenna is optimal. But the purpose of this unit is not only to display the SWR but to improve a mismatch of impedance between the transmitter and the antenna.
