I anxiously awaited the arrival of this system.... The first thing out of the box, said "test all equipment before running the cables and installing the cameras". That right there said "poor quality", even the manufacturer says "check it out before you go through all the work to install this quality product". So....I did.... Either the remote didn't work or the DVR wouldn't respond to the remote......Yes I did try changing the batteries....4 different times with new batteries.....I couldn't get the DVR to do anything.....If there were an "OFF/ON" button on the DVR, it would certainly may have helped. Without being able to turn it on, I honestly can't say if anything else worked ! Who knows maybe the cameras work good ?
