Review: I have an EGO power head and this works well with it. I have a 10 by 50 foot garden and every spring I rent a tiller to loosen up the garden and plow under the growth. This tool will do pretty much the same thing albeit it will take a little longer. It saves me picking up the tiller and returning it as well as messing with oil and gas. I used it after I purchased it and I don’t have to hand weed the paths I create between rows I just use the machine to till it under. The only thing I would say is with the power head battery and this attachment it is quite heavy. I suggest that if you are adding this tool to your collection that you consider the backpack to lighten this combination. Does it work yes. Will it save you money , maybe if you rent a tiller like I did . Will it till to the same depth that a larger tiller does yes with a bit of patients. Is it more useful than a dedicated tiller yes you can get into areas that a larger machine can’t and can be used well into the growing season. Other advantages, there is no gas , oil and tune-ups to deal with. It is more manageable than a regular tiller. It is available at a moments notice. This is a Cultivator, not a tiller; it's purpose is to loosen previously tilled soil and does an excellent job for its intention. **Q: Variable speed settings. Which one do you use when? The manual is silent on this. Thanks.** A: There are 2 speeds on the multitool power head; 1 is low and 2 is high. Always start with 1 when you need more control, then use 2 for high speed once the ground us broken up somewhat. **Q: Can you use the cultivator to dig icey apron during winter??** A: I would not recommend that. You will destroy the blades and your sidewalk. Instead, use a safe ice melt and chop it up in little pieces with an ice scraper. **Q: Does Ego have an aerator attachment?** A: No; an aerator required considerable weight to pierce the lawn to pull cores out. Do not believe EGO plans on such a tool.
