It was a little difficult to work around our beds. We finally took a small chain saw with an old chain and bar to cut a ditch for the edging to sit in. We haven't had it in long, but it seems to be doing a good job keeping out the grass. The pins make it stable and the clips hold the pieces together well. This is a very strong edging, and well galvanized. It should last for years. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Product, Bad Packaging *by C***T on Reviewed in the United States on November 11, 2016* I ordered the Coyote Landscape Products edge pins to hold down the bottom of our galvanized fence. Ideally, I was using the edge pins to help prevent animals from digging underneath our fence. There are other products made to help with that problem, but they were either too tedious to install (lots of digging required) or were far too expensive. The quantity, shape, length, and price of the edge pins were appealing and worth trying out.When I received the product from Amazon, I knew something was wrong. The box the edge pins were packed in was giant (two 10x10x10 boxes shoved into one another, making a box about 20x10x10), and the edge pins inside were just thrown inside with the sharp edges of the pins pointing every direction. There were only 79 out of the 100 edge pins in the box. I ended up contacting Amazon and had to ship the box and product back in order to get a replacement. If 90 or more pins were in the box, I would not have bothered to get a replacement... but 21 missing pins (21%) was too much. It was a big inconvenience to return the product because I had to repackage the box and drop it off at a UPS store. I should have taken a photo of the box the edge pins were shipped in because it was clear that someone tore open the original box and then carelessly dumped the pins in the makeshift box.The replacement product came quickly. I photographed the box and pins so you could see the sizes of everything. The box was 12x6x4, and the pins are about 10 inches long. The box was heavy and really lacked enough tape to hold it securely together, so I could see how the box from the original shipment may have broke apart.I would have given a 5 star review, but there were two problems:1) The plating on the pins was thin and was flaking off. The pins are in the ground and that protective plating is needed to help prevent them from rusting.2) The edge pins need to be packaged better. They need to be sealed in a thick plastic bag so they stay together in case the box accidentally opens up. The box should be replaced with one that has flaps that tuck into the sides (something like straight tuck box), and there needs to be enough tape to securely hold the box closed. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for use in the garden *by R***J on Reviewed in the United States on January 8, 2020* I use these to hold down soaker hoses, netting and drip irrigation lines.
